What It Takes! The End of an Era
Ohhhhh where to even start with this one!
Over 8 years ago I started a series of transformation challenges. With what started out as just 5 participants (this was the stipulation by the sponsor) in the first challenge, later grew to about 10x the size. To some reading this you might view this as still a small group of participants but I did absolutely everything myself. From the social media to maintaining relationships (both with participants and sponsors), to building each and every individual program, plus, don’t forget my regular client load. As the years went on and the challenges grew, the prizes got bigger with me offering the winners a 1 week trip for 2 to the Cayman Islands. This spring marked the anniversary edition which was my 15th challenge and as the challenge came to a close, so did that chapter of my career.
Like I have always said, I have never been one to follow a crowd and the industry was becoming saturated with 12 week transformation challenges. I felt it was time for me to dive into a new area of my coaching (see Why I Went Back to School). This doesn’t mean I am going to stop working with my clients or offering the same type of service but there will just not be a ‘transformation challenge’ component to my services anymore.
Over the 8 years and 15 challenges, I had the opportunity to meet some pretty incredible women. Some I have become quite close with and some have developed long term friendships with each other. The community of women was what made these challenges so much fun. There have been thousands of pounds lost, a few tears shed, some pretty big life changes and immense growth in confidence. I am all about finding balance and my main goal in these challenges was to help each individual on this crazy journey we call life.
